Cast Iron Roll are mainly divided into three kinds as below
1)Infinite chilled casting iron roll
it works with fine intercrystalline graphite layer.Size, shape and distribution of graphite and carbide can be controlled through the chilling effect and alloy content.Because of the added alloy element such as manganese, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, matrix organization may vary from pearlite, bainite to martensite.Add a small amount of fine graphite exists, not only improve the roll spalling resistance and thermal crack resistance and wear resistance, but also cause the work layer of roller hardness dropping very small.The rolls are mostly used in bar and wire rolling, finishing mill, section mill etc

1.Alloys spheroidal graphite cast iron roll

This kind of roll character is spheroidal graphite, its properties are similar to infinite cold chilled rolls, but its strength is higher than the infinite cold chilled rolls.Generally adopts static casting.
